Johnson Vee wire screen is available in various shapes including cylindrical, semi-cylindrical, flat panel, tubes and baskets, conical, arc filters, and other complex configurations. The filtration direction can be designed for either outside-to-inside or inside-to-outside flow.

An alternative design features vertically arranged supporting rod wires with profiled wires spirally wound on the outer surface of the structure support wires.
