The slit vibrator consists of cylindrical shakers with straight equipment. Bias blocks/wheels at both ends create centrifugal force when rotated, causing the main shaft to move in a circular motion. This creates gaps between parallel supporting rings that allow material separation.

When material enters from the feed end, part falls through the gap to the lower discharge port while the remainder exits through the discharge tank. The entire rotor moves along a sinusoidal track for efficient separation.

Johnson wire wrap screens are manufactured with V-shaped profile wire spirally wound around longitudinal support rods, with each intersection point fusion welded.
